All children can become lucky children

It was 1996 when the city-born teacher first arrived, Michelle‘s suitcase packed with lesson plans and a heart full of idealism. But what she hadn’t prepared for were the gaps between her urban expectations and the reality of rural life. Her students, bright-eyed and eager to learn, wore clothes that told stories of scarcity. A little girl’s blue dress, patched at the knees and sleeves, hung loose like a tent; a boy’s sneakers, two sizes too big, slipped off his heels as he ran to class, leaving him tripping more often than not. “Teacher Michelle,” a shy 10-year-old girl once whispered, tugging at her frayed cuffs, “my aunt made this dress for me last year… but I’ve grown.” So Michelle made a choice. She resigned from her stable city teaching post, packed her chalkboards, and traded lesson plans for sewing machines. With savings from her years of teaching, she rented a small workshop by the village stream and launched Luckchildren—a brand born from a simple promise:All children can become lucky kids. Today, Luckchildren is more than a brand—it’s a community. Michelle works with charitable organization, and each order transaction will donate $1 to the impoverished children. Michelle hope that through the opportunity of school uniforms and school shoes, all children can become “lucky children”.
